My husband and I had a wonderful short stay here. Everything was ideal from start to finish. The room was spotless and beautifully appointed and we really appreciated the touches of history throughout the hotel that had a modern design blended with elements from the old bank that once stood here. Our room also featured Indigenous art, which was such a thoughtful and meaningful detail. The location is also ideal as you are steps from the water. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and the service throughout our stay was excellent. We loved the option to text the front desk for any questions or requests, as it made things seamless and efficient. Ordering food to our room was also a great experience as everything arrived on time and staff were always courteous. Overall, the hotel felt both stunning and welcoming. We would highly recommend it and look forward to returning.

Delightful experience. A bit pricey compared to other hotels on the region. Breakfast is okay but not fantastic. Location and the rooms are fantastics. What made our experience a great one is due to Arthur and his wife. What had great chat and discussed about history. Nice.

Plus: This place was a delight from beginning to end. The service impeccable, professional and friendly staff, cocktails and food were exquisite. The building offers some history and even a bank vault off the bar. We stayed in the Backstage suite which was on the main floor, close to restaurant . Room was playful with the LPs/music theme. The room amenities were spot on. Drinks brought to room (bartender - amazing), a rooftop lookout, candy bar, perfect downtown location with parking right outside the door. CLEAN rooms, bed was extremely comfortable. Minus: building was once a bank, lots of steps, not as soundproof as a chain hotel (people talking in halls), could hear shower going above us, bath draining. Overall, not an issue for us. It’s an 11/10 and was worth every cent.

We recently held our wedding ceremony and reception at the Frontenac Club. I truly can’t thank you all enough for everything — from the planning process and your flexibility with last-minute changes, to all the hard work leading up to and throughout the entire weekend. The ceremony space looked absolutely beautiful, and the dining room and front entrance were set up perfectly. The food and drinks were incredible, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about the rooms and the breakfast-in-bed service. It honestly felt like one big, joyful sleepover — exactly what I’d hoped for! I’m also so happy with all of your vendor recommendations — the officiant, DJ, and baker were fantastic. And a very special shoutout to Arthur, who is just the coolest and most personable person ever. His energy truly made the whole weekend even more special. Thank you again for helping create such an unforgettable experience!

My husband and I stayed here for two nights after our wedding, and cannot recommend it enough. Our room was beautiful, the bed was comfortable, and we has a beautiful view from our balcony. Breakfast was served both mornings to our room as well. What a memorable stay. We will be back!

I found this hotel while looking for respite at 5 in the morning after a family emergency. The call started with Mitch who did everything possible to get us a room in an instant. From the moment we arrived, everything felt personal.. The staff (Krissy, especially) were warm and genuinely helpful, the rooms were incredible and beautifully designed, fresh and clean. The breakfast was delicious and fresh. It is truly unique beyond words, primarily because you feel like you belong here! Sean is an absolutely perfect host/owner. His authenticity is profound. He is humble and kind and truly wants you to be relaxed and to feel special. Highly recommend this place if you want charm, comfort, and top-notch hospitality without the big-hotel feel! And when you meet Arthur, you will want to stay for a very long chat. This place is as close to home, with a luxurious vibe. It will be hard to leave.

The Frontenac Club is such a special place in the heart of Kingston. We held our engagement party here in 2022, and it has become a second home to our entire family. We will continue to send everyone we know here because we know that no matter who you are, you will always be treated like you are part of their family. Arthur you hold a special place in our hearts and we thank you for all the hard work you, and the whole team always put into your job. Sarah, Sean, and Kaylee you are just some of the folks we adore and appreciate as well. Thank you all for letting us be apart of your family.

This fine hotel is like no other. It's stunning. The concierge Arthur suits this classy hotel. Thankyou for making our stay memorable. Without Arthur it's just a gorgeous historical building. He added warmth and the finest hospitality I've experienced. Ever.
